Did you wait until your water broke to go into L&D?
With my first I was induced so I didn't have to worry about it.
With my second had mild contractions and went into L&D and spent 9 hours in the hospital only for my Dr. to send me home after stripping my membranes and then my water broke a few hours after the sweep.
With this pregnancy, I had mild contractions like I did with my 2nd pregnancy and instead of running into L&D I just stayed home and they ended up stopping late this morning. I've noticed that my stomach feels firmer and the babes isn't moving around as much.
So pretty much when did you work your way into L&D?
I waited until my appointment for my OB to tell me I was 4.5 cm and my water was leaking lol
No, because my water never broke on it's own. I went to the hospital after my.contractions were 3 minutes apart consistently, and I couldn't talk/do anything through them.
I waited till my water broke. I had had regular contractions all day. They were 3-5minutes apart for over 4 hours by the time my water broke.
Even waiting as long as I did I still didn't start pushing until 9 hours after getting to the hospital.
Last night mine were about 5 minutes apart and they hurt enough to wake me up from sleeping. Then for some reason they stopped this morning. I will get one every now and then but nothing like last night.
No because my water was broken by them both times ( actually my little girl was almost born still in the sac.
I called l and d when my contractions were strong and 5 min apart.

I actually went into labor at work and then went home to continue my labor until my water broke. I wanted a natural birth so I stayed at home as long as I could.

My appointment is Wednesday and if I make it to the appointment I plan on telling her about last night. Maybe I'll be lucky and she will do a sweep if I'm dilated enough. Lol
That's not a good idea. Some people's water does not break until they start pushing

This. My daughter would have been born in the sac if they hadn't broken it for me.
I started feeling like I needed to push with what I thought were bh contractions. So I brushed it of until it started getting really painful. Got to L&D and I was already 9 close to 10 and had him i30 minutes later. I was in denial big time lol
If I had waited, the baby would have been born at home or in the car lol. I think I delivered him around 30 mins after my water broke (on its own), our hospital is 45 mins away without traffic.
After my water broke. But first I got on BG for awhile, then packed my hospital bag.
My water didnt break till they broke it for me at the hospital. Basically i waited till i finally took my head out of my ass and I couldnt take the pain anymore. Being in complete denial of labor sure passed the time I was 9cm on arrival
