Your baby could weigh anywhere from 5-8 pounds, give or take. How are we supposed to know?

Ultrasounds can be way off on weight by 2 or more pounds in the third trimester. Unless there a concern a lot of doctors will not do an ultrasound after the anatomy scan.

Doubt ull get another one then. Insurance and dr policies can dictate that stuff. But as AP said- no real concern most likely means no more u/s. it'd be a waste of money really.

:!: I don't really understand this post. It's not really common for late third trimester u/s anyway I don't think.

I only ever got a dating us around 8-12 wks and an anatomy scan around 20 wks. Unless there is a complications most practices dont do any more.

So you're having one because you have GD and larger babies can happen in women with GD.

That makes more sense I have type 1 and I had 1 ultrasound every week till 30 weeks, 1 high risk ultrasound a month from 18 till 37 when I delivered and two ultrasounds a week from 30 to 37 weeks when I delivered.

being type1, type 2, or having GD means you are high risk which explains the 38 wk ultrasound.
