Well I cannot speak from personal experience with either natural or induced births bc I went into preterm labor with my son but only got to 6 before he had to be taken via emergency csection. So naturally my next two were automatic csections. But my best friend was induced with her daughter and I get the impression that induction labor hurts THREE times worse than natural from everything my friends have told me about their natural and induced births. So if you can, I would most definitely try to go natural if you can manage. But I would say if you have already had an induction, if you did labor naturally this time, it probably won't be "as" painful as being induced. But what do I know? Either way, I'm sure it will hurt giving birth completely. Now that I have rambled on aimlessly, I forget what your original question was. Lol.

EDIT: Went back and looked. Seeing how I don't have personal experience, I would say from what I have heard from friends....using breathing techniques and epidural/spinal would probably be your best bets with getting through the pain. If you don't want pain meds....Idk but good luck to you. Lol. My best friend I told you about tried to go 100% without pain meds and she ended up caving. Unfortunately for her, the epidural didn't work at all so she ended up giving birth 100% drug free anyways. Funny how things like that work out. Oh I also have heard of women swearing by hot showers in the early stages and using a labor ball helps.

I'm definitely not getting an epidural or spinal, too many possible complications come with it. Anyway... I'm hoping to go completely without, but if I cave and get pain meds, I do, it's all understandable... but unless I have to, no spinal or epidural. My SIL had a spinal with my niece (emergency c-section at that) and has had problems ever since... anyway thanks for the tip

Probably safe bet. I have had three and each time had nothing but issues with them. But in my case, I had no other choice except general but even that has more complications with it. The worst complications I had was with my last daughter and the anestheologist was a complete dick. I will never go back to that hospital bc of him bc he knew of my prior history of complications and needing a blood patch after my son bc it got so severe and they refused to do it this time bc "spinal effects will go away on their own." Yeah, try telling a dr or someone to go the rest of their lives with severe every day migraines, back pain and nerve damage and see how they like it. This time, IDC...I'm going back to my original dr bc at least she knows I have had complications and what needed to be done. But i think I'm gonna talk to her about alternative pain meds I can use bc after the last time, it was so severe....I don't think I could come back from it again.

yeah... thankfully SIL has had the same doc with all three girls... actually, no... she had a different one with the oldest... had severe bleeding afterward because they didn't suture her incision right. :\ Gah I'm so nervous now about labor... because I did go into labor naturally with DS1 but they ended up giving me pitocin to speed things up... which really honestly pissed me off... this time if they come anywhere, and I mean ANYWHERE near me with that shit... I'm cussing a few nurses out, idc if they want to speed it up or not... unless it's absolutely necessary no... I don't want it. smh... anyway... here's hoping for a quick labor with this one. (definitely going to try and labor at home for as long as I can with this bub...)

I'm going to try and go natural this time, due to the fact when they did the epidural with my daughter they botched it big time, instead of the epidural numbing me wait down it numbed my face, then 1 month postpartum I started having my left leg go out on me and getting electric like shock pains into my heel and come to find out they severed my sciatic nerve and I have had issues since with my leg and back.
