Yep exactly it. I'm sure you could pay a professional to come in and set them up but for us the plug in ones worked fine.

When I had mice at my old place, my landlord was the same way. That place needed re-everything-ing. All we could do was lay 5 or 6 traps every night and change them every morning. And the people living below us (duplex) had a cat, FFS.

You can actually call the board of health on her for that... because technically it is her problem..

They're mouse traps (and yes they do kill the mice) just they arnt like the traditional ones. They're made of plastic and are black. If you go to google image and type in "tomcat heavy duty mouse trap" it'll come up. Id post the pic myself but I'm mobile

you know for every one you see there are ten you don't?
There are humane traps but honestly if you just release them they will probably come right back. Do you rent or own? If you rent it's your landlord's responsibility so would have to have pest control come by and fix it. If you own you're on your own... luckily mouse traps are pretty cheap. I would hate to kill them but sometimes you gotta d o what you gotta do.

Pretty much the same way here, drives me bonkers. Half the lights don't work, and we've tried the fuze box and new bulbs they just don't work, the dishwasher doesn't wash it just moves the dirty water around, the font door sometimes doesn't lock, and the bathroom door won't shut. T_T I hate this house.

Yes I know that.

Well I wouldn't release them by my house, I'd go out in the country and put them out there. I'm not stupid lol. I know mouse traps are cheap, I just reallly don't want to but I know I need to I was just looking for another solution before I put them out.

You should double check, legally there are minimum standards a landlord must maintain for the property to be habitable.

Sadly I have. It says in the contract that if we get mice I am responsible to take care of them and for any damage they create.

im guessing shes already had trouble h mice if its in the lease. I would get a humane trap & let them go far from your house. depending on the size you get they can hold 10-20 mice at once
