I feel like we're on a roll lately.

Asterisks are appropriate when you want to insult someone, but not REALLY.

Ask your doctor? Google it? If you're so experienced with having babies, you should know this, right? :)

Well you got your answer. No need to get all butt hurt.
If you want to start labor talk to your dr. Nothing you can do yourself will start it.

I have a hard time believing that your doctor would even suggest ways to start labor right now, most doctors would think you are crazy. We are all uncomfortable towards the end...just suck it up for a few more weeks.

This is baby #3 right? Did your other two come on their own or were you induced?

37 weeks? A little too early girl. But if your body is ready you can try pineapple, walking, sex. But for real though. I went to 42w and 3 days. You wanna talk about miserable?

i feel ya!!! i'm 36 weeks and 2 days and ready for mine to come too! I go in tomorrow to see if i'm dilating :) really excited! Before my last appointment (34 weeks) i was having a lot of contractions and when i asked my doctor about it he just said "let him come!" and explained since i haven't had any problems that my baby can come any day and they wont stop it. which shocked me because i was always told u have to wait until ur at least 37 weeks. So ever since then my family has been telling me to take walks, go up and down stairs and my fiance wants to go off roading every time we're in the car just to jump start things. Not to mention having sex every day. haha i'm okay with him coming on his own but this stuff doesn't hurt to try. i believe the only one that's been proven is the sex thing. Good luck~! :)

Sometimes I feel like I'm one of the few who wants my baby to stay in as long as possible. I'm in pain most of the day (normal pregnancy pain).. but I feel like not only is the baby baking FULL TERM the best thing possible, but I know I won't have the experience of being pregnant with him again.

As much as I couldn't wait to meet my babies, I wanted more for them to be ok and them to have as little chance as possible of needing to be in the NICU, etc. They only stay little for so long.. my kids are 3 and 5 and it's so hard to see them grow so fast, really. Pregnancy isn't SUPPOSED to be the most painless experience of your life, you're supporting another human being! :) I think it's silly when people are all, "zomg, there's pain! there's pressure! what do I do?" lol GL mama :)

My daughter was born at 38 weeks and died a few days after birth and I didn't try to get her out. I would give anything to have had those last two weeks with her maybe she would still be here. I'm sorry if this offends you but posts like yours really piss me off you have no idea how good you have it.

I am the same way, I am so ready to meet her but I want her to be as healthy as she can be and I will wait as long as it takes...I want a full term baby. Research has proven that even though it's just a few weeks, 40 weeks is better than 37 weeks. The not sleeping, pressure and all the other fun stuff that comes with those last few weeks is rough but so worth it!! I'm in the for duration, she can come when she is ready!
