I dont mean to pry, and you don't have to talk about it if you don't want to. But did she pass because she wasn't developed enough at 38 weeks? Or was her passing unrelated?

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost my daughter 4 days after her birth at 37 weeks.

We have no idea why she died she had a lot of jaundice issues and wouldn't open her eyes at all, and wouldn't eat. She was born at 7 lbs 6 oz and she was 6 lbs 12 oz when we took her home the next day. they were almost going to readmit her at her 4 day check up but they let her go home and she ended up passing away in the early morning of the 6th day. They did tests for 2 months and could not figure out a reason why so they classified it as SIDS. But i believe she just wasn't developed enough and that's why she had the jaundice issues. I will never try to have this baby come before it's ready.

That scares me to death...
I am so sorry for you both.

What is so scary is that if labor starts after 37 weeks, doctors won't stop it. My doctor has already told me he won't stop it. I just hope and pray that she stays in there until she is fully developed and ready.

Thanks for sharing your story.

I had my daughter at 38 weeks I was induced because my Dr. was nervous about how far I lived from the hospital. I didnt wanna be induced but she was insistant. Anyways my baby did good and was ready to come infact b4 they went to break my water the day I was induced it broke by itself so I guess I kinda did go in on my own. She had 0 problems after delivery she was very very healthy! I would just walk and be active thats supposed help get things going. But not much of that works anyways I dont think lol I know how you feel tho It does get harder to carry your baby but more then anything I got impatient cause I just wanted my baby soooo bad. Same with this one I am so excited and hope these next 18 weeks go by super fast! :)

You don't have to agree, but I am happy you had a good experience.
