What kind of things can your four year old do? DS is special needs so I'm not comparing him to others I'm just curious about the average things four year olds can do.

Like swim, ride a bike..? those kinds of things
Or write their name, know their birthday?
That's a pretty open-ended question.

Johanna will be 4 in 2 months.
She can write her name and knows a lot of her letters. She can count to like 20. She can draw people (not perfect people, but you can tell what they are.)
She cannot pedal a bike.
She can climb a ladder.
She knows her birthday and how old she is. She knows her address and the town and state she lives in.

She recognizes and can draw all the shapes. She draws pictures and pretends to write stories. She can take off her clothes and can put them back on, but sometimes she puts her shirt on backwards. She knows left and right. She is able to put her shoes on, but they're not always on the right foot.

She is fully potty trained, day and night. She speaks just as well as an older child, around 7 years old or so.

DS is special needs. He can recognize his name, colors, shapes, people in pictures, most letters. He's fully potty trained. He colors things but of course not inside the lines. He can take his clothes off and wash himself, but he can't put any clothes on. He can ride a scooter. He just started talking in full sentences. He knows he's 4 years old but since his birthday just passed he asks me to open presents all the time lol.

That's all I can think of right now.
