I got into a wreck back in December. My insurance only went up like $13. But... SO just got his bill for this month and his went up. Stating that it went up because of a wreck. We have a multi-car policy.

Um. It was MY wreck, not his. Also, this happened 4 months ago. He's gotten bills every month for his insurance and it was the same price it had always been. Now it's almost $200....

How does that make any sense?

If you share a policy they can raise the rates on both cars.

But why 4 months later? And that's bullshit. He has tickets and everything on his insurance... but it doesn't effect me. Why does MY wreck, on MY car, effect HIS insurance? I don't get it.

I was surprised mine only went up $13. Though, it was only like $1900 that they had to pay (I paid my $500 deductible). SO kept telling me it was gonna shoot to over $200. So I was freakin'
