Aoibhe (Ee-va)
Caoimhe (KEEVA)
Siobhan (Chevonne)

Because of recent family events Hubby and I decided to change our baby names list. Siobhan is set in stone, any suggestions are welcome :-). Rose is a family name and Dh prefers Rosabella over the other variations we have found.

I think it's too much as a first name as people won't know how to pronounce or spell them. I voted Briar.

I guess Rosabella but I don't like any of them.

Yeah, Hubby and I have tossed around using the more English friendly versions. I am not worried about people having a hard time with the mn but, the fn could be frustrating.

I hate most Anglicized spellings of Irish Gaelic names.

Alana (uh-lah-nuh)
Maeve
Nora(h)
Oona/Una
Isla
Eva
Ava
Evangeline

Other than traditionally spelled Irish names, what's your style?

Oona is on our list :-D Dh likes Eva and I like the spelling Aoibhe for some reason. He has already nixed Maeve :'(
