Nothing else is really "required." Although you will (of course) want blankets to cover them while they sleep.

Hell no. Anything loose isn't supposed to be in the crib.

I don't mean like a quilt or a thick blanket. Like a receiving blanket. I swaddled my son in one every night.

It goes on the bottom of the crib so you can't see underneath it, just like on a regular bed. It's more for looks, but judging by the name it keeps dust from going under the bed?

It's like a bed skirt. Id get fitted sheets, dust ruffle and some light recieving blankets knitted ones. Lighly cover the baby.

I wouldn't buy bumpers if you have to get a breathable one.

the mesh or breathable one would be the one to get.

i didn't get a bumper....because I was scared of sids but LO used to have her leg through the crib sometimes...

Just fitted sheets. And make sure the mattress is snug up against the crib. Don't get the bumpers or the crib sets. They're pretty much a waste of money. If you do get a bumper make sure its the breathable ones.
