it's going to be hot out soon...the baby really won't need a blanket..you don't want to over heat your baby. Her pedi used to ask at every appointment if she had any blankets or toys in her crib...like highly recommend absolutely nothing in her crib.

so crib skirt is useful? i am not planning to buy crib comforter as i have many receiving blankets and swaddleme, any suggestion?

i dont think it is useful..i think it is just for decoration. I didn't buy a crib set at all..i think they are a waste of money..I only bought fitted crib sheets.

oh ok, so basically no loose things inside crib? i mean but we need to cover with blanket is that ok

No. Don't cover the baby with a blanket. Either swaddle them with a blanket or buy swaddlers.

honestly i just swaddled her until she could roll and move around and then I didn't put a blanket on her at all. It will be getting warmer out soon and they won't need a blanket. you don't want to over heat your baby..

and if you really live in cali...isn't it already really warm there? she (or he) will just need a onsie probabbly

yes i live in cali, but i thought no matter wat season it is for newborns it shud be lil warm , not sure

rule of thumb....dress them how you would dress yourself. you wouldn't be all bundled up in a blanket when it is hot out right? if it is hot out youd wear shorts and a tshirt...they would be ok in a onsie. like i said you don't want to over heat your baby...it's another SIDS risk.
