I would most def change doctors. That doesn't sound right to me. I feel if you're not completely happy with the doctor that you have, you need to change until you are.

I don't think it's a sign of a bad doctor but you could ask about it at your next appointment.

Even though my youngest and the one i'm pregnant with now are going to be almost to the day 2 years apart my doc still did a Pap at my 1st appointment and he drew blood work. But that's it as far as exams and so forth.

If it was normal they may not be worried. You can ask.

I think it really depends on what doctor you have, like I go to a womens clinic at a hospital and one of the first things I did was had a pelvic exam done I actually wish we didn't have to have them done but anyway if you would feel better having them done so you knew for sure nothing was wrong and your doctors not doing them then by all means switch do what makes you feel better :)

think it depends on where you are, there doesn't seem to be a standard way of doing things.
You could always get a test independently, a friend of mine used these guys http://www.healthtestingcenters.com/std-testing-1900-royalty-dr-pomona-ca-91767.aspx but do you feel like you need one?
