I'll be back in that dark room for my anatomy scan. I never wake up this early, except to pee. Now I'm up and can't go back to sleep.. Ughhh. Guess I'll shower and make myself look human. My anxiety has been in overdrive about this appointment. Anyone else finding out today?

I wish! I have been up since 3:45am (EST) due to getting ready for work. I won't find out until May 7th. :?

I found out on Monday.
Good luck! Are you hoping for either gender?

I have one of each, and my kids hope it's a girl, but it really makes absolutely no difference to me!

The wait is terrible. I scheduled this appointment on March 11th, so wish I wouldn't have, with my son it was scheduled and done in one day, I had no time to stew about it! Now I've researched everything that could possibly be wrong (ok not everything, but close to it) I need to calm down.

What is it that you're worried about? That they'll see something wrong with the baby? I had mine done about a month ago, and I was super nervous. I've had a few friends recently whose children were born with an illness or handicap and I missed my appointment for my screening on down sydrome ect. I'm still excited, and am just praying she will be healthy like her big sister but I will love her either way. I was also afraid I wouldn't be able to find out the sex, haha. With my first I had 3 ultrasounds before they could tell me! Talk about a subborn baby...

Not any particular worry, just more of a general aprehension. My neice lost her baby in February, just 2 weeks after her anatomy scan, all along everything looked fine, until her scan at 19 weeks they realized her cervix was opening and bacteria was growing in it, baby was fine but they couldn't sew her cervix, she lost him right before 22 weeks, I'm not afraid of many things, I can handle a lot, but I just want an "all clear".. It's scary how much can go wrong between my body and the baby's... I really took for granted how easy my pregnacy was with my son.
