Pool pass, worth it? user banned

I am just thinking I am going to be pretty miserable and fat (pregnant) this summer.
One of the things I might enjoy doing with my 4 year old and hubby is going swimming (ya know keeps me cool and my 4 year old might as well be a fish)

It's $232 for a pool pass for the summer. The pool is nice because it's big. On Sundays only pass holders can get in. We would have to go 10 times to make it worth buying. There are 14 weeks of the pool being open, for your reference.

I am looking for opinions. I tend to think everything is a create idea, but is it????????????

I would say it's def. worth it. sounds cheaper than most sports programs and they usually only run 9 or so weeks for an hour a week.

Are you a SAHM and have time to go twice in a week if you feel like it?

I work full time and don't think I would be able to utilize it. We have a fun indoor pool at my gym and I take lo about once a month.

Im buying pool passes, but ours are only $60... ands we only need ti go 3super times to be worth it, and get a discount in food, lockers, ect....we plan on going once a week, or once every two weeks at the very least...so it is worth it for us...

If it's close enough to you, and you generally have hot summers, yes.

In NY I would be hesitant just because we had such a nice summer last year that usually the summer after a nice one is crappy.

Luckily, I can sneak us into my pool at work if it gets hot. haha

Here the last few summers, it's been too hot to do anything outside past 9:30 am. 115 degrees, pretty much all summer.

Yes! I would buy it.

I am going to miss the pool this summer...I am moving and the new house doesn't have a pool in the backyard. :( Oh well, I will be close to Soak City though. I may take DD there.

See, in THAT case, I'd pool it up. (Aside from the fact that I wouldn't go near my car with a 10 foot pole because my A/C broke last summer. haha)

I am not a SAHM. But I do get off at 4:30 so we could go Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays.

I also of course have those holidays (Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc)

We might ONLY go 10 times. You also get food discounts and stuff at the pool w/ a pass.

Yes! We live in the city, so it's cheaper for us. But that pool is absolutely worth it. We got passes to Kings Island last year instead of the pool, and regretted it instantly.
