I go tomorrow to my Ob, i'm pretty sure he will do an ultrasound, but unsure if lo will cooperate. part of me wants it to be a surprise till birth but I don't want a bunch of neutral color clothes. Idk whether I should find out or wait!! :/

16 weeks is pretty early for an anatomy U/S, they're usually done between 18 and 22 weeks.

Most people don't find out the gender until 18+ weeks so it's not a big surprise you don't know.

Yup.

You can go to a 3D/4D ultrasound place though and find out, OP. That's what I'm doing.

We have no idea. I didn't have my anatomy scan until I was 20 weeks along. If there's no reason to get an U/S earlier than that other than the initial scan seeing how far along you are then I wouldn't worry about getting one

I wouldn't believe anything a 16 week u/s tells you anyways.

That is what I say newborns look like, well not to the parent's face. I just joke about it in private and called my own newborns that a squished alien lol.

I have to find out, I'll go insane if I don't.

I found out at 16.3 with my eldest, 17.1 with my youngest. If its a boy, there will be no mistaking it.
