Yet your child's name doesn't even exist if you check behindthename.com... interesting :)

A name from 1923 is better than a name with no history.

I like Thea, but not Delores. All I can think of is Sister Act and two great-aunts I have named Dolores.

My childs name is Carina. It definitely exists and it is fairly popular.

She was named after a constellation. Nice try though, ma'am.

My mudder chose that name for her, so you'd have to ask her about all that.

Meh. I think Nyla's really cute-and Thea Delores IS an old fashioned name, for sure. I'm kind of into old fashioned names though, myself. Just depends on taste.

I dunno, those old fashioned names are really pretty in right now, and in that way, it IS modern, you know? My kids' names don't really match or anything. I guess the good thing about names is that if, as an adult, you're unhappy with your name, you can change it no problem.

Not a fan of Delores. One because of the translation and two, because its just and old woman name. Like Gladys..or Flo or Gertrude
