Im posting in SNs since the whole reason why im even dealing with CPS atm is because of something my SNs son did back in October (some of you SNs mom may know about it) anyways...The last paperwork I had said that I was not to have unsupervised contact with my kids. CPS has said that this is still an ongoing thing and that Im still not supposed to have unsupervised (IDK why though because I did what they told me I had to do to get it lifted two days after the initial paperwork was signed) the last signed paperwork I had from CPS was only effective from 2/11/13 to 3/11/13 so it has been expired for more than a month now. I haven't talked to the caseworkers and they haven't tried calling or texting me. Ive texted the caseworker and called a few times but I still haven't had any communication. SOOOO anyways I don't have any paperwork saying no unsupervised....do I just play dumb and act like oh well I didn't know?

I wouldn't they may take your visit's away all together. Sorry I have heard horror stories about CPS and I wouldn't trust them....

Definitely wouldn't do that. I don't think you want anything else working against you with CPS.

Wonder why you haven't heard? I would seriously be ringing their phones off the hook until someone got back with you.

I highly doubt cps would take your kids away based on something your SN child did you are obviously not telling the whole story. You had to do something wrong and very wrong in order to not be allowed unsupervised visits.

ducky, I don't do anything honestly. My SNs son tried poisoning my 3yo with some antihistamine pills that he found in a box(totally not where the rest of the pills were<in a locked box> so idk where they came from) right after we had moved in here. Since it happened on my watch and I wasn't on my bipolar meds at the time they said I wasn't supposed to have unsupervised contact. they didn't take my kids away. they are still in the home.

If they are still in the home and they didn't take them away- how on earth are do you get away with only supervised visits? And, why wouldn't they just monitor your meds for a bit and see if you are abiding by medicine rules? I don't understand anyway why they would get involved with you and your medical stuff unless it was hindering something. Do you have a lawyer?

OK now I'm just curious how does that work? Is there a social worker with you constantly? And usually cps doesn't do shit after just one incident.

CPS in Houston blows honestly. Theyre all up in my life.

They said "get back on your meds and we'll lift it"
got back on meds....they didn't lift it. "just wait a month or so until you've been on them a while and we'll lift it"

month went by....they didn't lift it. "It hasn't been long enough...wait another month"

waited another month.....still hasn't been lifted and now I cant get anydamnone on the phone. even my caseworkers personal cell.

Ducky, IDK why your posts aren't showing in the thread I only see them when Im replying to others. No, no social worker. BD qualifies as supervisor, neighbors and friends qualify as supervisor. Like I said, CPS is nothing but a buch of dickbags. Theyre screwing me around. Ive done everything I was supposed to but they keep changing the rules on me and then wondering why I haven't complied....well ya giant douche its because you keep changing what you want me to do. I have had 6 different caseworkers since October.

Well, that's rude IMO. And yeah, I can't see them either.

I hope they get this sorted out ASAP for you.

I hate damn CPS. They came twice on reports our baby was neglected. The constant crying? colic u dumb b***ch. they said pour house was dirty. we have people over so its always decent. anywa\ys we got repoorted to family advocy who did a board to decide if we neglected him. I brought ben usually to my psycology appts to deal with depression she was a witness for us, so were bens doctors and peopole from our units. if ben is neglected then why does he always have clean clothes? why is he chunky? he is fed. He is acting like a happy toddler his age. if he was neglected then why isnt he acting like it? just because he has development delyas isnt neglect as they shouldve know it was because he was born premature. but no they said we neglected him so now my husband has to take parenting class.....which our lawyer is fighting
