I'm so about to rip apart a washing machine! I had my last load in the wash and it started making this horrible noise half way through, and I went in to check and smelled it burning! My hubby took out the clothes still soaked and put them in the wash tub and it refused to come back on! I have my daughters favorite blanket in there which is hello kitty and she is super attached to and my sons favorite sponge bob blanket, and now I cant wash them! There is no laundry mat within 25 minutes of us too! How am I going to wash these clothes! Omg, this stresses me out, granted the washer is 6-10 yrs old and it decides to crap out when I have my kids blankets in there! I so needed to vent.

Haha, I'm so about to! It's really annoying to say the least though, and we cant afford a new washer either. You have a wash board I can borrow?

I've had this issue before, it's easiest to throw everything in the bathtub, fill it up with water and hop in and step all over it and swish it around, drain the tub and squish the water out, rinse, squish, and then squeeze as much water out as you can before attempting to dry. Don't want to break the dryer too.

I wish I had a tub lol, we live in the finished basement so all we have is a small shower stall.
