Ok, so DH and I are ready for another baby. I do not have menstrual cycles, and my ob/gyn said when we are ready to get pregnant, come to see her and she will put me on clomid. I was just wondering will any insurance pay for this? We have Aetna

it was only $9 at walmart for me. but it didnt end up working. after ttc for 3+ years and 6 months of clomid, vitex is what worked.

its all natural and it doesnt give you any side effects. clomid gave me every side effect in the book. it was terrible. vitex has been called natures clomid. and its way super cheaper. its 12 bucks for a 3 month supply. while the clomid was about 100 for 1 cycle. you could always try the vitex first and if it doesnt work you could do the clomid.

My insurance pays their portion, Aetna. And there is no way Clomid would be 100/cycle. They have generic and it's cheap:) Good luck to you!!

no, i meant i was paying about 100 a cycle for everything. it was $75 for the cyst check after every clomid cycle to make sure it didnt give me cysts. and the dr wouldnt prescribe me anymore clomid without the check. and then the clomid was $9 every cycle. and the clearblue digital opks were between $20 and $30 depending on where we got them. so all together it was more than $100.
and vitex is definitely not ok to take while pregnant. theres no point to take it while pregnant. considering its being taken to get pregnant. no need after you have already achieved your goal.
