Okay, so I have all this crap in my head and throat and it's choking me and I keep getting a sore throat. I already take Zyrtec. What else can I take to dry this crap up that's safe during pregnancy? I am miserable and have to work tonight....

Claritin and zyrtec are in the same class of meds. You can take one or the other but not both. However, it is safe to take benedryl and it's okay to take while pregnant. It may make you drowsy though.

Can Benedryl be taken in conjunction with Zyrtec?

And I have heard the same thing about the Claritin and Zyrtec being the same. I bought Alovert last night (it's all the same...I buy what's cheap).

I'm unsure on that. I know if you take the 12 hour claritin then you can take bendryl after the 12 hours.
I'd call a local pharmacy and speak with a pharmacist. They'd be able to tell you exactly what you can and can't take.

I talked to one at the store last night and she told me to continue taking an allergy pill and my flonase. She said their isn't much else to take to clam the gunk in my throat (which didn't become an issue until 2 days ago). I'm not sure what to do but after getting sick and gagging all night, I need to take SOMETHING...I can't afford to loose sleep over it all.
