We just bought a bunch of Alva baby CDs and they were perfect the first couple of days, didn't leak one bit.

Now they're leaking and soaking everything every single pee.
She wakes up with everything wet, all day every pee her clothes get soaked.

Why are they leaking so much now?? :?

I'd guess detergent build up if you're not using an appropriate detergent and rinsing thouroughly

Microfiber inserts, I pre-washed them a few times in hot water
Country save detergent.
after that I've just done delicate cycle with the country save detergent.

It's probably because of your wash routine.

Wash on hot with a few rinses.

I do heavy duty wash extra rimse on hot with detergent with whitw vinegar where fabric softener goes followed by 2 more rinses.

I wouldn't use the delicate cycle it's probably not washing your diapers well enough which would be the cause of your leaks.
I pre rinse on cold, then do a warm wash with the CD safe detergent I use followed by 2 cold rinses. I strip with a very small amount of blue dawn dish soap once in a while if I have problems with the diapers being smelly or leaking.

def no delicate cycle, theyre pooped and peed in, not delicate at all.

rinse warm

wash warm/warm or hot/warm whichever your washer has

id nix the MF and get some cheap prefolds to stuff with or flats too

it think its how your washing them. I'v always done 1 cold pre-wash no soap, 1 warm longest wash/ heavy soil with soap, 1 warm longest wash/heavy soil no soap

i wash every 3 days and i use tide original powder and fill the cup half way to the 1. we've been using the same Alvas for almost a year now and only had to strip once

I only have Heinz cleaning vinegar. Safe or no?

watch using vinegar if you dont know what kind of water you have. it can make your water hold onto minerals.

Not sure i didn't know there was specific cleaning vinegar. Try washing on hot on a nondelicate cycle first.

You want to keep your wash routine as simple
As possible. Ecos doesn't disinfect that's why I add the vinegar.

That's what I do! :) I turn my extra rinse on so each cycle gets an extra rinse then I turn it back on and go again with no soap or anything

I do not recommend vinegar, it's HORRIBLE for water-proofing. I strip with straight baking soda.

Water proofing?

I've been using it for a year and my diapers and pristine.
