Quoting Jays*Mama:" I have a baby girl Peyton. .. it's really popular for a girl. I know 2 other people with the same for their girls. I got it from the show One Tree Hill :)"

Yep. that's why Elliott has been being used on girls. I'm surprised Joey never caught on from Dawson's Creek.

I never knew that it was a boy name until I posted a thread about the name recently...
I've only ever heard of girls with the name Parker. Only one boy in this area is named "Parkour" but pronounced much different from Parker.

We have a boy's name on our list that's somewhat popular on girls. That's not going to stop me from using it.

Who cares if it's been used on girls?

To me it sounds like a person who parks cars for a living... I wouldn't use it for either gender.
