f**k.

I had an appointment yesterday, and my doctor said I was measuring big for 27 weeks. So I have a sonogram scheduled for the 29th.

It could be that she's just a big baby, there's too much amniotic fluid, or her position.
I'm scared that something is terribly wrong... I can't shake the feeling.

Has this happened to anyone? Was something serious wrong?

you could just simply be farther along than they think you are...or you just have a big baby! Try not to worry too much until you actually know what is going on..

Well I thought it was going to be a lot worse lol. That is very common and often means nothing. The u/s will get to the bottom of it but most of the time there's no reason to worry so relax!

I'm trying not to worry, but every time I think about it, I cry. I can't relax.

Mine was the opposite. I got a call on a Friday saying my last 3 measurements were small and kept getting smaller. They feared IUGR. When I went in for the ultrasound my daughter measured perfect, but I had low fluid. It was 5.2 cm or right around there, if it had been at 4 they would have sent me to be induced immediately.

They gave me 24 hours to drink as much water as possible and rest. came back and my levels had upped a bit. I was check every week until I delivered and never had any other issues with it.

I have measured big all along this pregnancy and most of my last one. Nothing was wrong. My last pregnancy ended with a very healthy 9lb baby girl arriving a week late and this time I'm 37weeks 3days right now and today I measured at 41weeks. My doctor is not concerned. I've been meauring big all along (even though i havent gained a pound the whole pregnancy and didn't with my last one either, i was 165 when i got my BFP and i am 165 today) and he sounds great and is very active, probably just another good size baby.

Measuring big by fundal height or even ultrasound is not something to worry about. There are so many things that can cause you to measure ahead by fundal height and ultrasound measurements are often WAYY off. Just take it easy and don't freak yourself out over nothing.

I'm not measuring big, but my little Monkey is. By my dates, I am 28w6d, and my Monkey is actually measuring 31 weeks per an ultrasound earlier this afternoon.
