Quoting Rebekah Garden x3:" That stinks. When DH lost his job we applied with no income and they gave us benefits! :("

I'm wondering if they would really notice if we applied in his name. Her medicaid is in his name. It's not like I am trying to live off of the government I just want these benefits while I am trying to get through school and get on my feet. I would get a part time job but I don't have anyone to watch DD so then again we're going to government assistance again with daycare assistance.

well it is free so I would be happy to get something! I have to pay for all our own food, when I decided to have a child I realized I would have to actually buy her food.

She isn't bitching, she is looking for solutions to help get her baby to eat. If the 'kid' won't eat, can ya blame her for wandering what to do?

When I decided to have a child my husband and I were together and we both were working full time jobs. A lot can happen in 9 months and unfortunately I am now dependent on the little amount of assistance I can get. I am simply seeing if there is a way I can get the fresh fruits and veggies the pedi says my daughter needs instead of processed baby food. Believe me if I could afford it right now I would more then happily buy it all myself I find it highly embarrassing that I do need assistance and I find that your comment was rather mean and unneeded.

That was bitchy! People go through hard times, that's life. I would just be thankful you can afford food, that may not always be the case. And I'm sure you wouldn't want someone being hateful to you over the Internet. Smh!
