Yeah, I thought the topic was abortions and miscarriages. I've obviously missed everything she said.

Glad you're ok.

Quoting Dovahkiin:" Am I the only one who hasn't had this conversation with their s/o.. Hey hunny, how was work? Btw, would you want me to die or your unborn child? Just wonderin'. "

I haven't.

Mostly because he's already said that I have complete control over what occurs with my body so if I think carrying a pregnancy is dangerous...then I'm not carrying it.

Quoting Dovahkiin:" An abortion is not always your choice."

Yes it is. Regardless if the situation in your life makes it the BEST choice, it's still your choice.

I think he would save me too. I mean I'm sure he loves his unborn baby but he's never even met her or had a chance to bond.

The neither answer confuses me a bit, but I did put that in thefe just as a filler and I'm a little shocked it's been clicked.

The OP is, but she was just sharing the fact that her SO would kill her off given the choice.

Lol thanks! Me too :p

It started as abortion vs. miscarriage but has moved on to someone's husband choosing the baby to live instead of her if something were to go wrong... I think the general consensus is that he is an asshat!

You can be mentally or even physically forced. Physical force doesn't often happen in the US but in many countries where women are oppressed it happens a lot behind closed doors.

Is it really much of a choice when it's between that and your death, though?

Oh and let's not forget that there have been instances where husbands have slipped abortificients into their girlfriend's or wives' drinks to induce miscarriage. AKA Abortion.
