I kept my DD. Then again, it was senior year. Things took an expected turn and my life is much greater than I'd imagine now because I made that choice. I however, think that if that turn would not had happened, I would had still had a bright future. I'm a fighter.

I feel the same & always have. That was the other MAJOR reason I didn't abort when I got unexpectedly pregnant with DD. Idk how I could live with myself after doing that, I would of probably committed suicide. As harsh as that sounds, I don't think I could of dealt with what I did if I had aborted.

I think they include women who TTC in that stat as well. It's just in general, get pregnant in high school, have another baby in or before five years later.

Quoting IDGAF ❤:" I agree, I am finishing up college & doing well in school on top of it. I am a single mother as ... [snip!] ... even have a GED, so it does happen but I guess it depends on the person & how determined they are to make it work kwim?"

That's exactly right! Glad you're doing good with everything, especially being a single Mom and going to college! Everyone slips up at something and my something was schooling, you have the ones that don't care and the ones that want to change and turn the negatives into positives. Easier said then done, but I'm not just doing it for me now I'm doing it for MY family :)

Seriously. She had twin girls too & at a point all of her kids were under 5. I give her mad props because she is an awesome mother too.

Congrats on your accomplishments! :D

this always trips me out. parents can not legally kick a child out of the house.

I 100% agree. My un-born baby is by far my biggest motivation!

Well guess I'm part of that statistic because after my hubby and I got married we got pregnant at 18 with DS #2. And Well now we are pregnant with DS #3 at 21. He will be our last babe and why do you ask we had 2 babies after the first while we're young? Because I wanted my kids close in age. Each are 27 months apart. DS #2 and #3 were planned because I did not want to have my kids forever apart. My mom had me at 15 and when I was 12 had my little sister. I've never been close to her because I am so much older than her.. I basically grew up feeling like her 2nd mom which sucks. I didn't want that for my kiddos
