That sounds like the urge I had when I needed to push they may send you home but I would go in some people never lose there water until it is broken for them so I would just go in for piece of mind hun.

Quoting Jess Barnes:" My maternity unit says don't come in unless your water breaks or contractions are 3-5 minutes apart so far they still aren't. I keep trying to go but i just fart thats why i think i have to go."

I was told the samething with my last pregnancy and I ended up going in anyway because the pain was getting worse but contractions weren't consistent. Turned out I was in labor and contractions weren't registering because they were all in my back had my daughter 9 hours later. You should definitely go in and get checked to see if your dilating.

I'm going to go in soon, just got my shower and that was a work out in itself! The contractions are getting stronger and I really hope some progress is being made with everything that has happened so quick in just 24 hours. I'll keep this updated!

So either you have not gotten back on the computer or you may or may not have a brand new baby boy in your arms right now :D

I haven't been on, oops! No, they hooked me up to a monitor for ten minutes and sent me home saying i was in false labor. only 1-2 cm dilated and 70% effaced. I have been crying and in so much pain. I wish my doctor was on call. This is so painful and I can't stand it. :(

I agree, normally they hook you up for at least an hour.

really 10 minutes that sounds crazy I went for weekly monitoring with my son even my first visit was close to a hour to see if I was having contractions and to see how far they were spaced out etc did you go to L&D or ER I would go back

I am waiting til tomorrow to see my doctor, that is if i can.. the one on call is so ridiculous and needs to go back to school it seems like. and where I'm at they don't let you in the ER they send you straight to L&D but the ER would have done much more for me is the sad thing. They said since baby's heartbeat was good they sent me home. I love my doctor because he really cares, he knows my body has been trying to put me in labor for a week now. So, if I wait I know he will make the nurses check me out better. My 'mucous/discharge' is starting to get really 'watery', idk if that means anything but they didnt check to see if my water was leaking or check my urine. great hospital, right?
