I can't believe how many are ok with it or wish it. In my family, we have many sick, sick individuals, and sadly it's been a vicious cycle of bad upbringings. Unfortunately, there have been children molested, and it covered up as a family secret no one is to ever speak of. And they grow up to be molesters themselves. It's sad, and heartbreaking. They weren't ever given help to overcome what happened to them, they were made to feel it was ok for it to have happened to them. One of my cousins is in prison right now, and will be until August 14, 2061. For molesting his daughter for years. He also molested at least 1 other family member. But, knowing what his childhood was like and how he was made to feel, my heart would break to know more harm would be coming to him in prison. I know that sounds terrible for me to say, but he was a completely broken being. He needed help, long ago and was denied that help. My grandmother made him feel what happened to him by several family members was normal and ok, and he shouldn't speak of it. When he was caught molesting a younger family member, he was made to feel it was ok. He grew up in a completely fucked environment, just like my uncle did, who was one of the people who molested my cousin. Many child molesters were probably given their "fair share" plenty of times before as children. The cycle needs to stop, once and for all. Them getting more r**e in prison will only continue that cycle, and will prevent healing for their soul.

Quoting Man. Bear. Pig.:" The r**e in prison is not even for sexual gratification. It's a dominance thing. The try to humiliate ... [snip!] ... into submission to show their own power, or for punishment (such as if the person was in prison for r**e or molestation, etc)"
All r**e is to some extent about dominance. It's an act of power. It's using sex to teach that person their place. The fact is that few people r**e because, well, that's the only way they can get sex. They do it BECAUSE they want to take away the other persons power. They want to humiliate them. They want them to feel powerless. They USE sex to get dominance. It isn't about the sex at all.
