So me and my husband have just learned after trying for three months that we are once again going to have another baby. I am super excited. However in the back of my mind I keep thinking about the fact that I'm still carrying forty extra pounds from my last pregnancy. I'm not one of those ladies who looks great pregnant. I have about a million stretchmark's on my stomach and I get acne and swell up. I totally understand I should just suck it up, I know it's worth it and it's what I wanted... I suppose it's just hormones making me feel "ugly" right now. My husband told me the other day that I look chubbier already... I don't know it's just been bothering me ever since. I have been trying very hard to eat healthier, and cut back on sugar and carbs... I don't want to gain sixty pounds like I did with my son. I don't know what did you guys do to maintain a healthy weight? Also did you use anything that worked good for stretchmark's?

1.) your husband sounds like a dick
2.) stretch marks are your skin tearing on the inside so no.
3.) you can use coconut oil to keep your skin hydrated.
4.) you can exercise and eat right during pregnancy and not get huge.

I work out every day, except for Sunday's, and I eat healthy.
I also don't drink anything else, but water.

Congrats!

lol, I don't think he was trying to be mean, because at the time I didn't know I was pregnant, and he was trying-in his own weird way-to convince me. I used a $31 dollar cream from the maternity store in the mall last time hoping it would help somewhat.... yeah I kinda figured there was nothing to help, but I guess i'll just have to remember how I got them. Nothing will matter once I hold that little baby. I do exercise and I work in a factory where I have already lost 20 pounds, I just feel bloated I guess.

I really like your thinking. I can't wait to be a mom again, I guess I'm ok with all the added pregnancy bonuses.

I had stretch marks since puberty, so honestly nothing helps them for me.

I had gained weight prior to getting pregnant with my daughter, and though I gained only 10 lbs with her I had planned on losing a bunch of weight before getting pregnant again.... That didn't happen. This pregnancy I am drinking a lot of water, and fortunately for me I crave healthy food. Plus my doctor just cleared me to go for walks daily. If you have extra weight to spare, take your vitamins, and have a sufficient balanced caloric intake there is no reason you have to gain a lot (if any) weight while pregnant. It is important to talk to your doctor about, though. Personally I have lost 15 lbs already this pregnancy, and my doctor said that is fine for me.

I loved this post....very inspiring.

Also eat soups....they make you feel full.

I would check out a pale diet...I switched to it just to help my energy levels but people drop weight on it like crazy and its soooo good for you....plus no portion controls :D
