If you BF and FF, how do you choose a formula?

I tried the stuff the hospital gave us and it messed with his stomach. So I went to soy and he was much better. Then when my supply was enough I cut out formula and only breastfed.

We just tried something and if it didn't work we tried something else. We ended up on Isomil (soy formula.) It was the only thing that didn't make her gassy and miserable.

Why do you want to mix feed? If you mix feed it is harder to establish a supply
