You need to take charge of your own body and wise up mama, induction so soon can be really hard on your baby and body and will up your c-section rate. You have every right to tell your doctor No to induction if you have have a over all healthy pregnancy and your weekly stress test are coming back normal then tell him to leave you the F alone and go induce his wife instead.

Unless you want a birth experience where you force your baby to come out when she/he is not ready :?

Im a little confused as to why that would be modded as well.. Sometimes when women just want there baby out they start to make up other excuses I heard many women do this on here and in real life.

I don't know why either. If she wants to be immature and childish then so be it. Really not that hard to tell my why she is offended.

how is it being immature, I am risking being modded for saying this, but doing a "callout" is the same as calling someone fake, which is against the rules

Quoting Chelsy E Sutton:" im 38 +2 and the last 4 days iv been trying nipp stimulation and NOTHING is happening! Iv tried my pump, ... [snip!] ... out of style! Iv tried castor oil and still nothing! No contractions NOTHING! Is it bc shes just really not ready or what?"

Wait... your due date says you're due the same day as me, which would make you almost 37 weeks not 38. Did your due date change at some point?
Anyway, nipple stimulation didn't work for me either. I tried it during my pregnancy in 2010 because I also wanted to avoid induction at 39 weeks.
What kind of pump are you using? Is it a double breast pump? if it is, have you tried doing both sides at the same time? How long are you doing the stimulation for? At your last OB appointment, were you at all dilated? If not, it may take longer to work as your cervix needs to become ready.
All of the above could be factors in why it isn't working for you, but the other ladies are also correct that your body may just not be ready. Mine sure wasn't. My cervix was closed and not at all soft. and only a BH contraction here and there. No real one's.
They're also right that you can refuse an induction. and as long as you and baby are healthy, I would indeed refuse if I were you. His wifes due date isn't your concern, and not a valid reason to induce, in my opinion.
Best of luck.
