Quoting Iggy Azalea:" Murica!! Sorry, had to lol Seriously though is America the only place that has this weird "Sorority" ... [snip!] ... f**k is it exactly anyway? I've seen it in American movies/tv and it just seems like the oddest, mini cult shit I've ever seen."
Thats exactly what it is

That's not what it's about. It's about a sisterhood and brotherhood but I've never seen any African American sororities or fraternities act this way. Its usually the uh..color challenged folks. I have a ton of friends who are AKAs and they conduct themselves like ladies and respect people.
I don't think this is representative of the way sororities behave. Certainly when I was in college we weren't even allowed to use profanity while wearing our letters. Perhaps because we were southern but it was not kosher to associate our sorority with anything "trashy." The attitude was pretty on par for sisters to be with pledges though. :D
Wow, what a potty mouth.
I have a hard time taking anyone seriously when they cuss like a sailor.

Clearly you have not been in one, because that's not what it's about. If you are going based on fake tv shows and movies that don't even remotely depict what it's like, then your way off base.
I loved my house it was an amazing experience and gave me awesome connections!!!!
That girl is sick in the head. I saw a screen shot of her twitter and all she talked about was participating in gang bangs and how she doesn't use protection. Obviously her vag was itching when she wrote that.
I don't have a problem with sororities but people get too invested in them, like everything else.
Lolllll I just read the email was written by one of DG's executive board members? lmfao ours were a whole lot more concerned about us having our pearls on straight than how much we participated in Greek Week.
