How bad are energy drinks for you? I know that drinking one probably isnt all that bad but DH drinks like 4 a week... are there any health risks to that?

As long as it's not 4 a day he should be fine.

Short answer yes, they're awful because of all the chemicals, sugars and stimulants.

They can be harmful if you drink tons.

My friends husband drinks 4-6 a day of the big ones and his dad has heart problems from the same thing. So basically we are just waiting for something to.happen because he refuses to quit drinking them..

before i got pregnant i would have a low carb monster once a day, i loved them and i miss them. now that i am pregnant, i only fuel off coffee and its just not the same. i have heard they are bad for you but everyone tolerates them differently.

I used to easily drink 4 a day for about 2 years. Sometimes more. I stopped cold turkey when I got pregnant.

The information in it is true. It is filled with chemicals and stimulants, most of the food and drinks on our market are though. She asked if they were bad I answered.

The little girl dying was her parents fault though, she already had a heart condition and they come with a disclaimer for a reason.

My Dad has a friend who's son had a heart attack at 29. They traced it back to the fact that he was consuming too many energy drinks.

Not that our FDA is stellar but after I found out they are labeled as dietary supplements instead of beverages so they dont have to meet the same standards or go through the same testing I wont drink anymore.
