i havnt been on BC in years, the last bc i was on was mirena and i got pregnant and PID from it, so IUDs are out. im afraid of depo.

whats the best, least side effect hormonal form of BC that you have been on? not looking for what the drug company told/tells you but personal experience.

thanks

I use ortho tri cyclen lo because other bc pills are too high in hormones and make me bleed randomly throughout the month. Different pills and forms of birth control affect women differently

Ortho Evra. Basically a patch you replace once/week. Never had any symptoms with it and didn't get pregnant for a few months until after I quit using it.

nuvaring is the BEST thing ever. for me anyways lol. I usually have such a hard time with hormones but no problems at all with this.

Watching!! I haven't been on anything in two years because when I got back on ortho tri cyclen, it made me insane and all my hair fell out. I need to get on something though because we're close to deciding that we for sure don't want anymore babies and I'm not ready for something permanent yet.

so true, so true.

i was on ortho tri cycle all thru HS and it was good for me, no weight gain, no crazyness. maybe ill just ask for that again :)

I took Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo for a while with no side effects, but it was too expensive for me so I switched to the generic version, Tri-Sprintec ($9 at Wal-Mart) and also had no side effects and no pregnancy scares for a whole two and half years.
