That my daughters amniotic fluid is low and she is smaller than she should be? My doctor has been setting me up with more ultrasounds but so far has only said this!! It is worrying me though because he seems worried himself! he even made the remark that it was "too early" for me to be having these problems :( I'm 30w1d...not due til July 1st.

Nobody has had this issue before? I'm just looking for some positive outcomes here. I'm afraid I'm going to have to have her too early :(

It could mean a number of different things. Why haven't you asked him about your concerns?

deff ask your Dr what they are thinking could be the problem and what are possible outcomes to prepare yourself.
If baby is born early it still has a very good survival chance at this point though... I looked that part up cause I've been having issues with early delivery since 26 weeks.

Sounds like she has IUGR from the low fluid. Some OBs can replenish the amniotic fluid supply. Has he checked you to see if you are leaking at all

Thanks for the input.I think he's waiting to see what this next U/S says (friday) before making any assumptions. He is hoping it isn't IGUR or whatever. I guess he is hoping her waters are replenished by then and it was just an "off" day.

I had this with my first daughter. Because she stopped growing the dr induced labor at 32 weeks. Luckily she was born extremely healthy! No nicu stay at all.

OMG you were lucky!! That would be so awesome, but I'm gonna expect a NICU stay if she did have to come early. :( What was your LO's birth weight??

That's great!! Isn't that a tiny bigger than the average expected weight at that gestational age?!

I believe so. She dropped down to 4lb 9oz before we left but the dr said that was normal. She had to wear preemie clothes for a while but now she's a perfectly healthy almost 5 year old girl. ;)

Awww!! That makes me entirely happy :) That's so great. You are blessed :) I hope I get as lucky as you if something goes wrong and she has to come early! Crap,I'm hoping the U/S is off.I mean she was measuring correctly, and I look at the U/S obviously and at my last U/S she was only two weeks behind. I'm thinking he has told me before that an U/S can be off by 2-3 weeks give or take or it could be close. I'm hoping it's just off by 2 weeks! But what are the chances that she was growing at a perfectly normal pace and size and then changes? I hope she didn't stop growing 2 weeks ago :(
