My husband Is Muslim not very religious just very traditional and cultural. The Muslim women in my area are snobby and i have not met one friend. Im now want to make friends with girls from other religions and cultures.

I was never accepted as a human being by any of the Muslim women Ive met through my husbands friends. Ive tried to be respectful and friendly with them and my advances to be their friend repeatedly denied. They basivally deny anyone whos been raised here. I try to not let it effect me but Im llonely. My husband keeps introducing me to other of his friends wives ect...and he gets mad at me for not making friends. He doesnt underatand that they are more snobby then a bunch of high school girls. Ive done nothing to be treated like such an outsider.

Im not against their very domesticated lifestyle and accepted them witj open arms until i began to realize how snobby they were to people who were different. I dont like that mentality because i grew up accepting all cultures and all kinds of people. Where can i meet friends that are girls? i havent been friends with anyone in over 2 yrs. Im starting to get depressed and feeling isolated.

Try meetup.com - I joined a "Geek Girls" group. But they have tons of other groups, maybe try to find one where you all have a common interest like knitting, book clubs, sports...etc

Have you ever joined a "mommy and me" group? You could meet other mothers there :)

I have a seriously impossible time meeting friends!

A few weeks ago I joined a mommy program at the library- you bring your baby, sing songs, read stories, and socialize! Its helped me a lot. Maybe see if your library has something like that?

I have no problems meeting people its just keeping friends. Its almost the opposite of what you are going through because they act like a bunch of high school girls with all their drama so I stay at home. I have three irl friends that I talk to pretty regularly but they live hours away and any other friends I have are on here.

I hope you can find a way to make friends! Good luck and if you ever need someone to vent to or just chat you can message me :)
