so all my regular checkup's starting from 9th month they checking heart rate with doppler, pelvic exam, strep b, monitoring sugar levels (I have GD) and measuring, is it the same for you all in 9th month? my friends says they are doing fetal monitoring since she got thyroid problem with her pregnancy. But I have thyroid since childhood and now GD still they are not doing any felt monitoring etc,

I'm not quite there yet, bit every time I go I get my weight, bp, and urine checked...his heart rate and my stomach measured. My dr won't do a pelvic unless I ask or there is a specific reason to. He does the strep b at 36 I think...

Yeah, my sister had a u/s at every appointment...that's just how her dr was. I have one next week to make sure he's growing on track and see if he's getting into position for my vbac but that's it.

I have had thyroid disease with my last 2 pregnancies, and haven't had any special fetal monitoring. The only thing they did differently than with my pregnancy w/o thyroid disease was monitor my thyroid levels, which they do pregnant or not, and ordered one extra blood draw a little after 30 weeks to make sure the babies thyroid is okay.

I will be 36 weeks tomorrow and went for my weekly appoinment today. They checked my weight, bp, urine, fetal heartbeat, measured my stomach, strep b swab, and checked to see if I was dilated. That's what the rest of my appointments will be like (except for the strep b swab) from now on.
