I just got one and I love it!!! We really don't have the space for a crib right now-we basically live in one big room upstairs with my SIL and her family. Just wanting to know what you mamas prefer: Bassinet, Pack n play, or crib?

I had all three. He grew out of the bassinet in 2 months, he hates his pack n play and crib lol, but thats because he ALWAYS has to be up and moving :x

Go with the packnplay. Most come with a little bassinet

If you don't have the room I would use a pack n play. Most of them come with a bassinet and last longer so you wouldn't have to waste any extra money either.

I had a pack n play with bassinet attachement which we used until she was about 3 months. Then she went into a crib. If you plan on using a pack n play for a long period of time I would invest in an actual mattress for it not the flimsy thing that comes with it as its not good for their back.

I like the Pak'n'play Deluxe myself. The ones with the changing part, the bassinet, the storage and all that. I loved it for after having a c-section then I didn't have to bend over or reach that far for baby.

I had a packnplay that I used as the bassinet for the first 4 months. It was a good size and we could keep it in the bed room to make nursing easier and faster. After about 4 months I moved my guy to a crib in his nursery. He was getting bigger and could use the space that a crib offered. He was also not waking up as much so he didnt have to be right next to me. After 4 months I used the pack an play as a way to corral my son when I needed to get in the shower or so on.

I had a pack n play with a bassinet on it...I used it for a while- only thing you've gotta be careful with is the weight limits. My 3yo was pretty much too big for one before he was 2

Where can you find a mattress for the pack and play?

I got mine on Diapers.com with a coupon code for % off and free shipping. Ended up being less expensive than anywhere else.
