Question for other mirena users... *Tegan's Mommy* 1 child; Lowell, Massachusetts 1264 posts

I have been on mirena for about a year and a half now and lately I have been getting pregnancy symptoms. I know for a fact that I am not pregnant, at least that's what 5 tests have told me, so I was just wondering if any others experience anything that is similar to pregnancy symptoms.

Also, the symptoms all began about a month or so ago. TIA.

Whenever I got pregnancy symptoms, like hardcore omg I'm totally pregnant symptoms, all my tests were negative so I went to the doctor and it turned out I had a bacterial infection. I only got one of those in the 2 1/2 years I had it.

Almost 2 years after getting mine it stopped my period (I have a small one every 3 to 4 months or so now) and I started getting pregnancy symptoms. It was freaking me out and I got to the point that I was taking pregnancy tests about once a week. I guess it is pretty common though.

I have been freaking out, I got my period last month, and for the past about maybe 5 or 6 months its last 2 weeks every time i got it and last month it only lasted a week, in a way that made me paranoid to. I'm hoping it's all just in my head.
