Marcus has a bad rash on his bum. He just had a bad poo that needed to be changed. When I told him "come let's chnge your bum" he started crying and saying "no,no,no" in the saddest way. Take him in his room and lay him down and he sees me getting his wipes, nappy and bum cream. His crying gets more hysterical like he's being tortured and during he's saying "no mummy, no mummy, no mummy". And I'm saying back to him... "I'm sorry but I have to" .... Waaahhh that made me sad and hurt. And I just cuddled him after. My poor poor baby :(

When DD would get that bad I would rinse her off in the bath instead of with wipes. I felt horrible when her rash would get that bad.

I wold do this but he hates water. It's a 20 minute battle of screaming just to get him in one.

I hate that. DS will get minor rashes from a bad poop and it's the worst thing in the world when we are trying to change him. He will get huge tears just rolling down his face.

Hope his bum gets better soon!

:( I just went through this with my 2 and a half year old boy. Try using water with paper towel or chux cloths with water. I still don't know what caused that bout of poos but it was horrible for him, and I felt so helpless.

I'll have to try that next time :(

He got the rash yesterday after an explosion from sneaking into my coffee milk. Silly little kid. He was in pain all night from it. Curled up under my poncho after a dose of Panadol.

Awh man I hate this. I always wipe his butt as fast as I can. I always give him something sweet or that he like and lay him down in front of the tv while he airs out.

It's so hard watching them beg "no mommy no mommy"

:( poor baby. Rory has such a sensitive but he has to have a barrier nonstop and if we don't he ends up with bloody patches where the skin comes off :( I know it sucks having to see them go through that.

DD got a bad one around 4-6 months from tummy issues. the cream we were using made it worse. by the time i realized it, she had blisters with puss ( i thought it just hadn't had time to work- only took 2-3 days to get that bad). she'd scream bloody murder from the time you opened her diaper. she would arch trying to get away and would be so stiff the top of her head would touch what she's laying on...

That's what happens if he goes without bag balm for more than a few hours.

That's what his bum looks like if he's had dairy! And ATM. :(

I use pawpaw on it.

Eta: it's also all on his testicles too. Poor guy.
