Quoting tatesmommy09:" <blockquote><b>Quoting AaliyahVal'sMommy:</b>" Thank you. Yes i keep telling them that ... [snip!] ... was the right decision. If my water had broken at home I most likely would have delivered in the car on the way to the hospital"

Thats something i had been worried about too, the hospital is about 30 min away from my house, and i've been wondering my whole pregnancy what if i have her in the car on the way there?

I wasnt worried at all with my first. But I was at the hospital less than am hour before he was delivered. He would have been born about 25 minutes after arriving if I hadnt had to wait for my.midwife.

That is why we were so worried about my second. I feel so lucky that things went the way they did. I think as long as you are feeling baby kick and move you are fine to keep her in for a few extra days. Sounds more to.me that your family is just super eager to meet her lol. Now that is selfish!

That, and the fact i feel the doctors are trying to scare me into doing it also, Why else would she tell my mom and my boyfriend that she's most likely gonna be a still born for being a little small?
If it were really that bad, why was i allowed to continue the day before my due date?
I can understand the eagerness of wanting to see her and meet her, i feel that way too, and having her early can be tempting because of that, but i still feel it's best for her to continue her developments, she can come when she's ready too.

Babies are supposed to bake for 40 weeks. Yes sometimes things happen bit I dont think a few extra days are gonna hurt her any!!
