We arnt pregnant but SO and I brought up the list of names the other day for our future children :) He asked if I was still going to let him name our second son after him since I got my way with our first. Our agreement was that we had to come up with a name together for our first that we both equally love and then if we have a second son he can name him after himself ( James Neal III).

I replied saying yes but he had to have a unique nickname that could grow with him since my FIL is Jim and SO is Jimmy. SO was really happy and wanted to look up variations of the name James and what we found was either Jameson and Diego. He really likes Jameson but we both said that Diego is kinda of neat and almost seems to go with LO's name; Thorian

Jameson literally means "Son of James", so it is completely appropriate.

Diego doesn't go at all with Thorian.

Diego is the spanish Variation of James so i kinda was going with that too.
I guess i should of clarified more, I meant that it was more unique and not classic.

This! I like your first son's name. What about Jamie? I know a guy names James and that's his nickname.

I mentioned that name to SO and he thought it was to feminine. He knew a girl named Jamie growing up so it kind of ruins it for him I think.
