I would look around the guitar for anything that could possibly make the guitar make a noise.. because SO has about 10 guitars, none of them ever randomly start playing.

I'm a believer in ghosts. I've seen too much shit not to! lol

Now I'm going to be afraid to stay up by myself. Thanks. ;)

It's ironic how I saw this post. My friend and I were talking about our experiences about ghosts.
I'm a true believer in ghosts. I can see them, hear them and feel them.
Whoever it was, was trying to make there presence known!

The kids play with it about everyday.
I'm not sure about the strings and humidity. It probably has a logical reasoning behind it, but its hard to stay logical when a guitar is practically playing Yankee Doodle by itself in the corner.

Im terrified of ghosts ever since my grandfathers passed away when i was 13, and my daughter passing away I hate being in complete darkness because i think I will see something or hear something. I won't sleep in complete darkness unless my husband is there. If I am alone the light in the hallway has to be on. If I were you I'd be hiding under the covers! I am serious I really am terrified of ghosts.

Oh me too! I've seen and heard so many things in my life to not be a believer. I lived in a house for about a year where I would hear walking down the hall at night and the steps would go right past my door. And I would hear people talking to each other, but I could never make it out. Even DD noticed it.

I don't like the dark either. I always have to have a light. SO hates it lol. He loves to sleep in pitch black.

I found out a few months after living there that the last tenant committed suicide in the living room with a shotgun. :? I'm thinking it might have been him walking around at night.
I got used to the sounds after a while. I just kept my bedroom door shut at night. For some reason that made me feel a lot better at night.

is it laying flat on the floor?

I'm a believer in the spirit world also, but it doesn't seem to be harmful in way, maybe just ask it a few questions and see if it responds with the guitar!

...I say that like it's not a big deal, i'd be FREAKING OUT in person lol.
When I was pregnant with my son I was hearing this odd noise come from our room, and we have lived in this house for almost 2 years. I was so freaked out I woke my husband up and started crying. It was a metal banging sound and we couldn't find it's source in the room. All I could think about was Paranormal activity and the demon wanting the first born son lol.
