Our big boy only a couple lbs shy of outgrowing the infant car seat, sooo idk what to get now lol both of our car seats were gifts so I need good brands? MAybd a seat that will last longer that can like, transition with him in sizes for awhile? Sorry if that doesn't make sense. I just want to get a good long lasting car seat. He's now 18 lbs and 28 inches, 6 mos. old. The seat says up to 22 lbs and he's gaining a 3/4lb -1 lb a month

your best bet would be a convertible carseat.

You will need a convertible carseat. What's your price range? What size shirts does your LO wear?

We got a convertible carseat for our daughter when she was 6 months. It's by Safety 1st and we love it. It has head air cushions on the side that would protect her head in a crash. Easy buckling too that was important for us too :)

Mmmm not too worried about price, like 150 at most? Is that high or low balling? And he's in 6 mo size now but I can tell he's gonna go up soon cuz they fit a little tighter every week so 6-9 mo pretty shortly.

How big is your car?

There's a safety first complete air or whatever it's called.
There's graco my size 70.
A little more expensive but better for smaller cars there's diono radian rxt.
There's some others but those Are all in the 100's except radian is about 200-220.

It is we got it when DS was 4 months old and so far LOVE it. It has an adjustable headrest so that it takes up as little room as possible. I had it in a Chevy aveo sedan before we got our Chevy equinox. It rear faces till 40 lbs. I'm not sure how long it foreword faces though, we haven't gotten that far lol
