Can I be you? Lol this sounds like a fun week!

I was just wondering what other SAHM's do. I'm looking for a FT job but that is going horribly :/ I'm also about to take two courses online so at least I'll have that to do starting the beginning of June.

Okay so I have a 3.5 year old and a almost 5 month old.

We wake up between 8:00 and 9:00 am then I get my older DD cereal and she eats. While she does that I change the baby's diaper and feed her if she hasn't eaten already recently. Then I take older DD to potty and put on her big girl panties. Then usually she wants to watch some shows so I let her do that. Then I sit and watch a show and play with younger DD. Then baby takes a morning nap during which I try to get some laundry and dishes done while older DD plays or colors/paints and watches shows. Then I will get us ready for the day and then we try to go to the library or the park or just for a walk or playing in the yard. The rest of the day is filled with my older DD playing/watching shows and me doing housework and taking care of younger DD. Then around 5-5:30 I start dinner and then SO gets home at 7 and we eat, take baths, sometimes read, watch tv, and then I snuggle with them both until they fall asleep.

I'm not going to lie, my older DD watches ALOT of tv. I mean she plays and half watches a lot but still, I really need to incorporate some learning time in there. I'm about to sign her up for t-ball too. I think the first couple months while I was getting used to two kids, the tv "babysat her" a lot and now I feel like crap for it. So hopefully with some of your ideas I can incorporate more things to do. I hate rainy days though! Ugh I feel like we are trapped on those days.

My 3 year old watches a lot of TV but I'm not worried about it because she's actually learning from it. Like tonight, she counted to 9 because she heard team umizoomi counting the sides of shapes. When songs come on, she dances to them. My 2 year old aggravates the piss out of her though because she likes to turn the volume down.

I only work 1-3 days a week in the office now so used to my old schedule I feel like a SAHM. I'm currently signing Anthony up for sports on Wednesday afternoons and every Monday we try to do a different library to switch it up. I also bring him to the gym with me once a week.Every morning we do his numbers and alphabet activities and read at least 3-4 long story books because he absolutely loves to read and it's something I enjoy doing with him too

Obviously staying busy is good for the kids....but it is really good for YOU! My kids and I passed around a bug last month that had us home for 10 days straight. I legitimately thought I was losing my mind. It is so much easier for me to be out and about than to be home.
And I honestly do not even spend much money during the week. Granted, I know there is more to do around here than some places but we really take advantage of all of the free fun we can M-F :)
