So baby girl just turned 12 weeks yesterday and she has been an absolute angel. she has been such an easy baby to care for that I even felt like I was the spoiled one haha. Well its been a couple days already and she has been having these random moments of crying inconsolably right before just knocking out. . My concern is this, I know babies cry, but I'm just wondering if she is just crying like this a couple times a day cause she's tired or can there be something else wrong? Because of how much of a 'non-crybaby' she has been alllll this time, and this happening so suddenly out of nowhere I can't help but to be concerned and confused. Shes poopin fine, she hasn't gone today but she went twice yesterday, she burps after every feeding, everything is fine until she cries like that. Can it really be that she is THAT tired that she just let's it all out like that until she falls asleep in my arms, or do you guys think there can be something else wrong that i am simply not taking into account? Thanks in advance and sorry if this is a silly question. .

How soon after feeding does she do this? Even though my daughter would burp during and after feeding she would still get gas bad sometimes and would basically do the same thing.

if its right after feeding it might be acid reflux. or shes just wanting to stay awake so shes fighting sleep

Yeah its not really after her feedings at all. . Just random/: but now that you brought that up, what exactly is acid reflux?

Have you had anything that could be a stressor happen lately? Like maybe alot of new people comming around or just more guest than usual? Running around with her more than normal? How long do her crying spells last?

Also acid reflux is where stomach acid will come back up into their throat and it burns really bad its quite painful actually. You may want to try to burp her after every couple of ounces as well to see if it might help too thats what we had to do with dd.

its basically heart burn. my baby has it. she also developed colic. which is crying all the time for no apparent reason. she didnt have it but shes developed it. been going on all week. i suggest gripe water. that stuff can be used for anything, from tummy ache to just plain fussiness. works like a charm. started using it today and she hasnt really fussed AT ALL. It was amazing, she would be crying then i gave it to her and instantly she was quiet. then she started passing gas. it helps move gas along and stuff. its an all herbal supplement. I was at the point of wanting to try anything to stop her constant fussiness and screaming like she was in pain. its only 10 dollars a bottle.

I would give it a little while and see if this continues, could just be a fluke thing or maybe even growing pains?. If you breastfed it could also be something you're eating lately that's not agreeing with her.

Her crying spells today have been pretty bad. . Like earlier she fell asleep for like 15 min then it started again. . Super random. She's not hungry //: she'll just cry and cry makes me so sad..

sounds like what my brooklynn did. and all of yesterday she would act hungry so i fed her. but i think she confused hunger with a belly ache. cuz she threw up this morning. but ya the dr said some parents swear by gripe water. I got the "mommy's bliss brand" was 10 dollars at walgreens. the dr also suggested a probiotic called lactobacillus reuteri, but thats 30 dollars a bottle. it balances the healthy bacteria in their stomach and intestines. therefore preventing upset stomaches. so i tried the gripe water first. and im very satisfied with the results.
