Maybe some saline drops and then use a bulb syringe to suck out the boogies?
Hope she feels better :( Sick kids are so pitiful :(

I'd probably just do it anyway and piss her off, she'll get over it haha. It'd make it easier for her to drink and sleep, too, ya know?

I had to torture my 10-mo that way all last weekend. Middle of the night, holding him down, kicking and wailing, but I was getting those boogies out so we could sleep dammit! The only way he was happy was when I was standing and rocking him. I tried sitting on the couch with him, I tried sitting up in bed, nothing made the kid happy except for me standing and I would have fallen over from exhaustion eventually. Funny thing is, the more he cried, the more he loosened up his own boogies and I was able to get more out. Hope she feels better soon!

isn't that usually how it works? lol. she's back in her bed...whether she goes to sleep though is uncertain. if she's still awake when i go to bed i'll suck her brain some..
