So, I've been around BG a lot, but haven't really updated because updating from my phone is a giant PITA and I never get on my laptop anymore (oops!)... so, here's the long and short of it (mostly long!)

Baby---
She was estimated at 5.25 lbs last week. Not too bad for a little 34 weeker! My guess is she's gonna be right in the normal range when she comes. Low 7s if she makes it to 37 weeks (my goal).
She hasn't moved from her head-down position she's been in since 22 weeks. She's locked and loaded and still at a -2 as far as we can tell (we know she's starting to engage, but she may be lower than that as you can't really tell station from ultrasound---doc will give me her station and all that when my stitch comes out at 36w). She is head butting my cervix and popping that butt out just under my ribs just as hard as she can. and she LOVES running her toes up and down my right side...exactly where the seatbelt sits when I am driving, haha. She gives that thing hell!
Her nursery is complete other than hanging curtains (which I've been slacking on for weeks because we had family in town and have been busy with other things). We even managed to pick up a glider in GREAT condition for $25. Just needed a SERIOUS scrubbing down. Now it looks awesome in there. Undecided on whether I will paint it or not. Either way, I'm not dong it til she's here at least.
And I have just about all the clothes I need. My sister is sending another box of hand-me-downs up to 12m. So, that should actually be ALL I need for her...for a YEAR. Having a baby isn't too expensive when you cloth diaper, breastfeed, thrift store shop, and get hand me downs (and/or use the big-items from your first kid), haha.

Mama---I'm sitting at just under 3cm of cervix. Which doc is thrilled with. We'll see how much its decreased in the last 2 weeks when I see him on TUESDAY. Yep, Tuesday...which is exactly 36 weeks. Which is when my stitch comes out. Which is in FOUR DAYS. FOUR. Holy crap.

I have gained about 15lbs total. Not too shabby! I can totally live with it, especially considering I didn't restrict my food intake at all. I've been ravenous for the last 2 weeks, so I know she's really packing on weight and needs extra calories. Since I'm only at 15lbs gained, I'm just going along and eating whatever sounds good!

I have TONS of pressure and some cervical pain, especially when my bladder is full, right after peeing, and any time I'm on my feet/walking for a few mins...and lets not even discuss stairs. I can't sit with my feet together at all, even reclining, because my belly is so LOW. So different from how it was with Smidget. I'm the same size around as with him (I measured!), but look MUCH smaller this time because she's so low. Smidget didn't drop til I was in labor, so this is all new to me.

FAMILY---
DS broke his thumb in the hinge of a heavy steel fire door last week. He got 7 stitches and a splint out of the deal, so he's enjoying showing everyone the gross pictures and telling them the stories. He cried when it first happened, but did GREAT when they stitched him up and splinted it and has done great getting his bandages changed and stitches out (today), so the docs and I are totally impressed with how tough he's being...of course, NOTHING slows this kid down...Obviously...these were taken less than 72 hours after he did it...

(note: these shorts were retired. He moved from them into 5T...guess he's skipping 4T shorts...the 4T pants were too short when I retired them when it warmed up)

(Note his hand is in a bag and duct taped and he's gong up the ladder one-handed while carrying a water gun...kid is talented)

DH is going officer and applying to college, so we're in transition. He's also reenlisting and getting his paperwork together for that (luckily, that's pretty much guaranteed and just has to go through the ranks to be signed off on. He's an awesome Marine, so we know they won't refuse him. Hoping he can sign his paperwork for it before baby comes! As for officer, its a pain in the butt process, but all should be done within the month and then we'll just be waiting on the decision. Can't wait for it to be done. We won't know anything until September at the earliest, so cross your fingers for us.

And now for belly pics!21764EE9-56E9-40F0-A3C1-0EED071DA847-252EBD0A4C6-293B-49A9-B17B-B9412A0BFF90-94677641C41-4D4E-48AF-8265-79CCB679EF36-946And, don't mind my drunk face, but here's 35w exactly from an angle that REALLY shows she is LOW (not really drunk...it was 5:30am...which is not a real time IMO)

I'm the fact that the stich comes out Tuesday thought it was Thursday, that you measure the same as with Ax cause you don't look like it at all, and that Your DH had made a decision on what he wanted to do...

You've been too busy for me too lately

I told everyone the 30th. The 30th is Tuesday.

And the measuring the same thing was just something I measured a few days ago for my own curiosity...didn't really tell anyone. I just kept hearing how much smaller I am this time, so I checked the measurement around. My fundal height is only a week ahead though (was 8w ahead by this point with Smidget) but I carry MUCH lower, so I know that changes fundal height because she's more in my pelvis.

As for AJ making a decision. He made his decision months ago. We've even working on applications since then.

There's no way the 30th is Tuesday.. I refuse to believe it :) haha it's like everything was in the future for so long , including AJs stuff and now it's here! I was talking to him when he was helping set up for your baby shower and he still was wavering on what exactly he was gonna do. I'm really just teasing you though :D I wasn't really serious.

My baby shower was almost 3 months ago. He decided within days of my shower, haha.

And I was like "what on earth didn't she know!?!" Haha

We do need to get together soon.

Not my fault you didn't update me... You got your baby shower out of me and forgot about me..

Hahaha I'm totally kidding at least 50% has been me having Cam and being broke. If I hadn't been having a panic attack We prob would have had a nice lunch and I would have learned AJ made a decision!
