Hey ladies, I hope everyone is doing good today. I am doing pretty good. I am not in too much pain. We will see how I feel after going grocery shopping though. I absolutely hate grocery shopping anyways but it is always worse on Saturday. Living in Arizona this time of year sucks for shopping because all the senior citizens are out getting ready for their trip back home. Let's just say that most of them should not even be allowed to have a driver's license anymore. When you are driving 20 mph in a 45 mph zone, it is time to give it up.
My DH has a day off finally so I will get to spend time with him. He has been working 12-14 hour shifts all week. The money is nice but I miss him. I have been sitting alone at night after the kids go to bed watching reality tv until I pass out. Not exactly an exciting time.
My youngest daughter is giving me such a hard time about doing her hair. She is 4 years old and has SUPER curly hair. Do any of you ladies have any tips on brushing/combing curly hair? What kind of hair products to use in it? She screams bloody murder every time I come near her with the brush and tangle spray lol

I wish I could help. Th last three years I've just had to wear my hair in a bun 90% of the time. I got so frizzy and awful I cut it super short to start over.

We're going out to some dinosaur park today where there's footprint fossilized in the river bed. Just waiting on ds to wake up. Then my mom is a major horse freak so were watching the derby

I am terrified of horses, lol. Not sure why. I never had a bad experience with one. I guess I am just intimidated by their size.
I feel like cutting all DD's hair off as well but my DH would kill me. He likes long hair and won't let me cut either of our DD's hair short. It is just such a pain in the ass because she won't let me do anything with it. It would look really cute in pigtails or a french braid but she would flip out if I tried to do either of those, lol.

Yeah I fell off a horse about two years ago and spent three months in physical therapy. It sucked. But I like horse s I'm just super uncoordinated lol.

I'd tell dh I was cutting it. If he wants it long he gets to take care of it. At least until she was old enough to a) sit still b) straighten it or something to help or c) take care of it herself. But that's just me. That's kinda why I want all boys. We want 5-7 kids and I'm hoping for boys.

Quick question is it thin and curly or full and curly?
I've dealt with both. Including my own :).

With my youngest DD I'm ashamed to say it but I had her hair cut into a bob last year after battling with her every single day. I was pregnant with DS and restraining a toddler with a big belly and always aching isn't easy. Dh didn't want her hair cut either until one day I told him look I can't do this anymore. If you want her to have long hair you need to set aside an additional 30+ minutes to your morning routine to do her hair. Needless to say she got a haircut that afternoon.

In the end it was the best thing for us both. Her hair was no longer a fight because it was so easy to do and now that its grown back a lot I guess that break and ease of doing hair for months helped us all.

5-7 kids!?!?! You must have the patience of a saint, lol. I have three and I am always ready to rip my hair out. I could never handle that many kids.

Well we just got back from the dinosaur park. It was really cool. I went to take chandler into the water (it's like a 5 inch deep river kids can get in and play) and I slipped while holding him. He was fine but I slammed my knee cap into the edge of a rock. It's a little skinned and super red and swollen and puffy. It's just not my day. I'm so far beyond tired it's not even funny but chandler is teething so I can't nap cause he's screaming at the top of his lungs. My dads being pissy cause I'm crabby. And no one seems to remember my fall and they want me to just keep running in circles.... Is it bed time yet lol.... With my tiredness and crabbiness and how stupid dh and I were this month I'm starting to wonder if I need to worry. I'm pretty sure I don't but I'd be lying if I said the thoughts not there.

ouch! I hope your knee gets better soon. You should probably put ice on it. Is your period late? If so, maybe you should test just to put your mind at ease.

I'm not really sure if I'm late or not. I usually get it on the 21st like clock work but last month we made a huge move and I got out of the military so I was 16 days late. Now m not sure if I should have expected it on the 21st again or if my cycle is permanently thrown 16 days off.

I swear every time I tried to reply to this earlier something distracted me lol.

Thick curly hair is best when it's only washed with shampoo once a week. Use conditioner only every other day. Trust me it won't be gross it will actually help the curls maintain shape and be shiny. Leave in conditioner is your best friend. No need to buy anything special just mix about 2 tbs conditioner into 1 cup warm water and put it in a spray bottle. It must always be wet or damp before brushing also if not it just turns all poofy :). I like using Aussie Moist Shampoo and Conditioner. It moisturizing but doesn't weigh down the hair.

The last two things are coconut oil but it has to be 100 % . Only apply a teeny weeny but to her ends or from the middle of the hair down. If you feel like any is needed on the top use what little is left on your hands. It can get gross if you use too much but it's amazing for hair and skin! I love it but have to be careful in my own hair because its very fine.

Oh and a wide toothed comb is essential. I can't think of anything else right now it's late :) and my daughter schmoozed her way into having a sleepover tonight .

How when he was hungry and i was trying to burp him he would open his mouth and try to suck on my cheek lol. How he used to fall asleep in his walker face first into his eggs. =( I dont want my baby growing up =(
