Quoting Squeaky McGee [26 wks]:" I feel the same! I want to go natural this time around, but I have a low pain tolerance, so I'm terrified ... [snip!] ... they pumped me full of Pitocin and I got the epi, so I didn't feel transition and crowning. I'm afraid of crowning and tearing."

Oddly enough I never felt the "ring of fire" people talk about. Crowning hurt like a b***h and an episiotomy was no fun. If you look up breathing techniques and stuff it should be easier. I wish I had lmao

I think because...
I had a perfect labor and birth with my daughter, almost too perfect. I don't want this one to be the complete opposite.
There are more reasons, but that's the main one.

I have scoliosis that's pretty painful, and even more so when I'm in labor. I had all back labor with my daughter, it was excruciating. I'm gonna go for the epi again, only this time I won't hesitate!

I am absolutely terrified of having a c section. I couldn't handle it. With my anxiety as bad as it is, they'd have to knock me out.

Quoting ☠ Meg13 ☠:" Glad I'm not the only one! I have really bad anxiety issues... I know I'll have a panic attack or two."

This is exactly what I feel and what I'm going through.
Yesterday I just started crying out of nowhere, realizing how scared I am for this labor and delivery.

My anxiety was through the roof.

I love that name!!!

I know what you mean, and I can kind of feel your pain. I'm worrying about the silliest things too. I feel so unprepared. But I'm sure everything will work out just fine for you guys! <3

I was waiting for you to say that her middle name was October. I think it will suit her well, and it means so much to you guys. I absolutely love it.

I had shown SO your wedding photo, and just told him the name you picked. He loves it too! He said you couldn't have picked one that fit more.
